Join us in changing lives, one hoof print at a time!
At Equine Assisted Therapy, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit, we believe in the healing power of horses. Our mission is to make this incredible experience accessible to everyone, and we rely on the generosity of our community to keep our programs running.
While we do charge a small fee to participants, it only covers a fraction of the costs involved in each session. Your support ensures that we can continue offering life-changing experiences to those who need them most.
All donations are tax-deductible, and we’re happy to provide a receipt upon request.
Here’s how you can make a difference:
Scholarship Fund
We believe that no one should be turned away due to financial constraints. Our scholarship fund allows clients to apply for financial assistance, so they can benefit from our classes, whether short-term or long-term. We are especially committed to serving Veterans, First Responders, and children in foster care—who participate at no cost. Scholarships are available for both our adaptive riding and mental health programs.
Horse Sponsorship
Our herd of therapy horses is the heart of our program. It costs nearly $100,000 annually to care for them, including feed, hay, veterinary care, farrier services, and even chiropractic care. By sponsoring a horse, you help us keep these amazing animals healthy and ready to change lives.
Our motto, “Changing lives one hoof print at a time,” is beautifully reflected in the horseshoe prints that line our barns, each representing a significant donor. But remember, every dollar helps, and every donation stays right here, supporting our therapy programs.
